Running is the most simple and accessible form of exercise we can undertake. Yet it can be hard to know where to start. I'm here to walk alongside you and guide you in your running journey, whether your goal is simply to lose weight or you dream of one day making the Olympics like me.
There is power in having a vision. In my own running journey I've experienced the energy that focusing on a vision gives you. I'll walk alongside you and help you find purpose to your training which will help you remain focused when times get tough.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Sport and Exercise Science at one of the leading sports universities in the world, Deakin University. I understand the importance of using science based methods to reach your goals, whilst using my experience as an athlete to make sure I can implement it practically.
It is so important to have somebody besides you when the times get tough. As most people say running can suck and it definitely can in the early stages however knowing that you have someone beside you to keep you accountable and support you when the times get tough is crucial to you becoming successful and I will be that person for you.
Mindset is probably the most important aspect to becoming successful in reaching your goals. One of the biggest blocks to my own mindset has been belief. I can promise you that I will believe in you more then you believe in yourself and also work with you to use many of the strategies I have to used to overcome my own barriers. I also believe having balance in your life and enjoying what you are doing is crucial. Which will be an important aspect of our planning session.
